Who woulda thunk it. Makybe Diva pulls off a hat trick, to mix the sport metaphors. And I'm the sucker with the bets on Distinction and Eye Popper.



I picked Eye Popper for his name (he pops eyes!) and because he is Japanese. For some reason, that put a funny picture in my head. Maybe I was picturing him with awesome hair and a love of manga. And I pick Distinction every year, because every year I figure it's good luck to pick him so close to my exams, and every year he loses. I don't know what that's supposed to mean.



So anyway, screw it. I didn't actually have enough cash this morning to be able to blow anything big. Plus, they give you CASH at Medicare. Cash, I tell you. This truly is the lucky country.
